PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Battle of Plans ("we", "us", the "Game") collects, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have. It is written to comply with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and mirrors the Google Play Data Safety and Apple App Privacy disclosures for the app.

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

Battle of Plans is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].

2. Data We Collect

We only collect what the Game needs to run. We do not show third-party ads and we do not sell your data.

3. Why We Are Allowed to Use Your Data

  • Performance of contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c, GDPR Art. 6/1-b): creating your account and running the core game, matchmaking and purchases.
  • Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6/1-f): anti-fraud, moderation, crash diagnostics and improving the Game.
  • Consent (KVKK Art. 5/1, GDPR Art. 6/1-a): analytics that use the advertising ID. In the EEA/UK we ask for consent before collecting it, and you can withdraw it at any time.
  • Legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6/1-c): keeping purchase / tax records where the law requires.

4. Who We Share Data With

We never sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under strict agreements:

  • Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Authentication) — analytics, crash reporting, push notifications and login.
  • Google Play & Apple — sign-in and in-app purchase processing.
  • Unity — Unity authentication for guest / Unity login.
  • Hetzner (EU, Germany) — server hosting of our game backend and database.

5. International Transfers

Our game servers are hosted in the European Union. Some providers (e.g. Google Firebase, Apple) may process data on servers outside Türkiye and the EEA, including the United States. Such transfers rely on adequate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the providers' own certifications.

6. How Long We Keep Data

  • Account and gameplay data: kept while your account exists, and deleted when you delete your account.
  • Chat messages: automatically purged on a short rolling window for moderation.
  • Purchase / billing records: retained as long as required by tax and accounting law, then deleted.
  • Crash and analytics data: retained on a limited, aggregated basis per the provider's defaults.

7. Your Rights

Under KVKK (Art. 11) and GDPR (Art. 15–22) you may: learn whether we process your data and request information about it; ask for correction of inaccurate data; request deletion or anonymisation; object to or restrict processing; request a copy of your data (portability); and withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We respond within the legal deadline (30 days). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in Türkiye, the KVKK Kurumu).

8. Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time — in the app via Settings → Delete Account, or from the web at battleofplans.com/delete-account. See that page for exactly what is deleted and what we are legally required to retain.

9. Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

10. Security & Changes

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on access-controlled servers. We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the Game or on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will change.
